Launching the Consensus at the UNFCCC mid-year climate meetings 

The Wildlife and Climate Scientific Consensus was launched at the Bonn climate talks during an official press conference held on 11 June, 2026. 

The panel of speakers included:

  • Silvia Mantilla, World Federation for Animals (WFA) - Moderator

  • Dr. Trisha Atwood, Utah State University

  • Nathan Roberts, PhD, Northeast Forestry University

  • Matt Collis, International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW)
